For the second year, Lithuania is joining the global initiative – the month of April is declared the month for the prevention of sexual violence. Its goal is to draw public attention to crimes of a sexual nature, to encourage people to seek help, and to dispel the myths associated with it. The National Information Centre on Sexual Violence „Prabilk“, together with the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, is launching the information campaign „Have you suffered sexual violence? Speak up“ on 2 April 2025. Various events dedicated to the prevention of sexual violence will take place in different municipalities of Lithuania.
