Project activities
As a project partner, the Juodšiliai Eldership Community Social Services Centre began implementing the activities of project No. 07-003-P-0001 „Provision and Development of Integrated Care in Lithuanian Municipalities“ in Vilnius District Municipality on 1 January 2023.
The aim of the project is to ensure the provision and development of integrated care for persons in the target group in Lithuanian municipalities. During the project, it is planned to provide nursing, rehabilitation and care services to children with disabilities, adults with disabilities and elderly persons in their homes and in state and municipal institutions implementing pre-school education programmes for pre-school-age children with disabilities (up to 7 years old), as well as consultations for family members caring for disabled and/or elderly persons at home (on preparing to care for them and on assistance with caring themselves), and psychological support for disabled and elderly persons, the family members caring for them, and the staff providing integrated care.
During the project, it is also planned to develop the competences and professional qualifications of staff providing integrated care, to equip mobile teams with nursing supplies, equipment, devices and vehicles, and to hold events promoting informal assistance for staff providing integrated care, family members and the community.
It is planned that by the end of 2026, 4,018 disabled or elderly persons across Lithuania will have received integrated care.

The project is funded by the 2021–2027 European Union structural support „European Social Fund+“ and 2021–2027 European Union structural support co-financing funds.

On 30 November 2022, a joint activity agreement was signed under which the Juodšiliai Eldership Community Social Services Centre participates as a partner in the project „Youth Photo Club Business Start-up”.
The aim of the project is to start economic activity by providing various services to the residents of the Vilnius district, which would positively affect the attractiveness of rural areas and quality of life.
Upon implementation of the project, modular cabins will be built at the Juodšiliai SPC, where leisure and recreation organisation services will be provided to centre visitors, staff and the community.
Since 5 October 2016, the project No. 08.4.1.-ESFA-V-418-04-0030 „Integrated Care at Home in Vilnius District” has been implemented, co-financed by the European Union structural funds.
