Since January 2023, a children’s day centre has begun operating at the Juodšiliai Eldership Community Social Services Centre, in the Youth Sports and Leisure Unit, at the address Draugystės St. 2, Valčiūnai village, Vilnius District.
At the children’s day centre, visitors are provided with conditions to do their homework, take part in various artistic activities that encourage creativity and self-expression, reveal their abilities, and they are provided with meals and helped to develop independence and personal hygiene skills. Visitors of the children’s day centre section and their parents are involved in organising and implementing socio-cultural events. In order to reduce social exclusion, outings and excursions are organised for visitors.
Children’s age – from 6 to 18 years (pupils from grade 0 to grade 12).
Sessions take place Mondays to Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
